'anaa arriiHu...
ﺃَﻧَﺎ ﺍَﻟﺮِّﻳﺢُ...
I messed around with your days.4
3abithtu bi'ayyaamikum
ﻋَﺒِﺜﺖُ ﺑِﺄَﻳَّﺎﻣِﻜُﻢ
I broke the twigs of your dreams4
kasartu 'aghSaana 'aHlaamikum
ﻛَﺴَﺮﺕُ ﺃَﻏﺼَﺎﻥَ ﺃَﺣﻠَﺎﻣِﻜُﻢ
that surrendered to me4
allatii istaslamat
ﺍَﻟَّﺘِﻲ ﺍِﺳﺘَﺴﻠَﻤَﺖ
because they were soft.4
li'annahaa kaanat ghaDDatan Tariyyatan
ﻟِﺄَﻧَّﻬَﺎ ﻛَﺎﻧَﺖ ﻏَﻀَّﺔً ﻃَﺮِﻳَّﺔً
You did not learn the details of the dream4
lam tata3allamuu tafaaSiila alHulmi
ﻟَﻢ ﺗَﺘَﻌَﻠَّﻤُﻮﺍ ﺗَﻔَﺎﺻِﻴﻞَ ﺍَﻟﺤُﻠﻢِ
because you are the sons of illusion4
li'annakum 'abnaa'u alwahmi
ﻟِﺄَﻧَّﻜُﻢ ﺃَﺑﻨَﺎﺀُ ﺍَﻟﻮَﻫﻢِ
and heirs to what the wind has left behind.4
wawarathatun maa tabaqqaa min arriiHi
ﻭَﻭَﺭَﺛَﺔٌ ﻣَﺎ ﺗَﺒَﻘَّﻰ ﻣِﻦ ﺍَﻟﺮِّﻳﺢِ
Whenever I came towards you4
kullamaa hababtu Sawbakum
ﻛُﻠَّﻤَﺎ ﻫَﺒَﺒﺖُ ﺻَﻮﺑَﻜُﻢ
you escaped from my path4
harabtum min darbii
ﻫَﺮَﺑﺘُﻢ ﻣِﻦ ﺩَﺭﺑِﻲ
devoted to your cowardice4
mukhliSiina lijubnikum
ﻣُﺨﻠِﺼِﻴﻦَ ﻟِﺠُﺒﻨِﻜُﻢ
because you are the grandchildren of the afraid4
li'annakum 'aHfaadu alkhaa'ifiina
ﻟِﺄَﻧَّﻜُﻢ ﺃَﺣﻔَﺎﺩُ ﺍَﻟﺨَﺎﺋِﻔِﻴﻦَ
whose tranquility I came to4
'alladhiina 'ataytu 3alaa sakiinatihim
ﺃَﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﺃَﺗَﻴﺖُ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺳَﻜِﻴﻨَﺘِﻬِﻢ
and spread them all over the globe.4
waba3thartuhum fii 'aSqaa3i al'arDi
ﻭَﺑَﻌﺜَﺮﺗُﻬُﻢ ﻓِﻲ ﺃَﺻﻘَﺎﻉِ ﺍَﻟﺄَﺭﺽِ
I am the wind ...4
'anaa arriiHu...
ﺃَﻧَﺎ ﺍَﻟﺮِّﻳﺢُ...
I wipe out the one who bows to me ...4
'aktasiHu man yanHanii...
ﺃَﻛﺘَﺴِﺢُ ﻣَﻦ ﻳَﻨﺤَﻨِﻲ...
I drop the one who waits ...4
'usqiTu man yantaZiru...
ﺃُﺳﻘِﻂُ ﻣَﻦ ﻳَﻨﺘَﻈِﺮُ...
I chase away the one who hesitates ...4
'usharridu man yataraddadu...
ﺃُﺷَﺮِّﺩُ ﻣَﻦ ﻳَﺘَﺮَﺩَّﺩُ...
I am the wind ...4
'anaa arriiHu...
ﺃَﻧَﺎ ﺍَﻟﺮِّﻳﺢُ...
I confess to you ...4
'a3tarifu lakum...
ﺃَﻋﺘَﺮِﻑُ ﻟَﻜُﻢ...
that I have cruetly and anger4
'anna ladayya min alqaswati waalghaDabi
ﺃَﻥَّ ﻟَﺪَﻱَّ ﻣِﻦ ﺍَﻟﻘَﺴﻮَﺓِ ﻭَﺍَﻟﻐَﻀَﺐِ
and strength and snarl4
waalquwwati waalzamjarati
ﻭَﺍَﻟﻘُﻮَّﺓِ ﻭَﺍَﻟﺰَﻣﺠَﺮَﺓِ
that is enough for the rest of your lives4
maa yakfii liyabqaakum fiimaa tabaqqaa min 3umrikum
ﻣَﺎ ﻳَﻜﻔِﻲ ﻟِﻴَﺒﻘَﺎﻛُﻢ ﻓِﻴﻤَﺎ ﺗَﺒَﻘَّﻰ ﻣِﻦ ﻋُﻤﺮِﻛُﻢ
in the depth of regret ...4
fii 3umqi annadami...
ﻓِﻲ ﻋُﻤﻖِ ﺍَﻟﻨَّﺪَﻡِ...
So who will challenge me?4
faman yataHaddaanii
ﻓَﻤَﻦ ﻳَﺘَﺤَﺪَّﺍﻧِﻲ
Who will tell me: no!4
man yaquulu liilaa
ﻣَﻦ ﻳَﻘُﻮﻝُ ﻟِﻴﻠَﺎ
Who will scream to my face?4
man yaSrukhu biwajhii
ﻣَﻦ ﻳَﺼﺮُﺥُ ﺑِﻮَﺟﻬِﻲ
I do not like cowards, I scatter them like a handful of dust.4
laa 'uHibbu aljubanaa'a 'adhariihum kaHafnati turaabin
ﻟَﺎ ﺃُﺣِﺐُّ ﺍَﻟﺠُﺒَﻨَﺎﺀَ ﺃَﺫَﺭِﻳﻬُﻢ ﻛَﺤَﻔﻨَﺔِ ﺗُﺮَﺍﺏٍ
